Malati Marlene Shinazy, MEd
Malati (whose name rhymes with “Quality”) has improved organizational cultures for hundreds of clients worldwide. Before launching PLC, she worked as Chief Learning Officer and VP of Learning, Talent Development, and Organization Development for Silicon Valley software firms, Fortune 100, and small-cap companies.
Malati’s history of providing strategic talent and organization development solutions to clients is coupled with her deep insider knowledge of their real-time pain points.
She teaches Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace at University of CA, Santa Barbara and is a certified facilitator of The Leadership Practices Inventory® and The Leadership Challenge Workshop®.

Senior Consultant

Seema Sharma, MA. Seema’s optimistic statement that “nothing is impossible to a willing heart” is informed by more than 10 years of professional success as a HR professional, educator, and communication specialist. Additional professional experience includes strategic Diversity and Inclusion, L&D, OD, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations and Conflict Management. She is currently an instructor at University of California, Santa Barbara’s HR Management Certificate course, Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace.
Seema is our role-model for continuous professional development. She has completed graduate programs in HR Management and Business Leadership from University of California, Santa Barbara, as well as graduate programs and certificates in Diversity and Inclusion and Talent Acquisition and Planning from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
She has a master of English Literature degree and two bachelor of art degrees, Education and English Literature.
What sets Seema apart from other business consultants is her superior communication skills and ability to collaborate with client/partners to increase the ROI of investments made in employee and organizational development.
In her spare time, Seema loves to cook, take walks, and enjoy family life.
Senior Content Developer

Chris Fleck, M.A. is a professional educator, freelance writer, and entrepreneur. Chris got his start in management best practices while obtaining is M.A. at Hawai’i Pacific University. He dedicated his master’s thesis studies at the topic: Superior to Subordinate Feedback & Evaluation and its Under Utilization in the Workforce. Chris has been a writer for Honolulu’s daily and weekly newspapers Star-Advertiser and MidWeek. He currently is a contributing writer to numerous Hawaii-based and national publications, as well as an adjunct professor at Hawai’i Pacific University and University of Hawai’i Community College. Chris also plays an integral role as an executive for Prime Protein Superfood, a health and wellness start-up. Taking advantage of all Hawai’i has to offer Chris is a hiking enthusiast, dedicated long distance runner, and shabby-at-best surfer.
Senior Facilitator (Bilingual Facilitator: English and Spanish)

Carla Blandon is fluent in both Spanish and English, working with clients who need a bilingual facilitator. She worked in financial services for over a decade, simultaneously teaching business courses for new entrepreneurs with Mission Community Services and Women’s Business Center in California’s Central Coast. She was also media relations and outreach for a non-profit serving the Latino community. A native of Costa Rica, Carla attended Universidad de Las Americas majoring in hospitality and tourism. She is the founder and President of “her baby, The Hispanic Business Association, headquartered in in Paso Robles, CA. In her spare time, Carla uses her public speaking skills to promote the organization and its members. She recently received Wells Fargo Bank’s Diversity and Inclusion Champion and Volunteer Service Excellence awards, and recognition from the Parent Institute for Quality Education for her dedicated volunteerism.
